Learn English in Seattle

Our school 10 minutes from the city centre. City hinge between the USA and CANADA, your stay in Seattle and your linguistic experience will be turned to good account with visits on both sides of the border. The campus gathers all the centres of interests: modern infrastructures, sports complex.

The 15 lessons per week program is considered as a  "Vacation English" course. Then the I-20 form is not compulsory so as the F-1 visa

We have developed a 12-week comprehensive Prep Program for the TOEFL® iBT that gives students the best preparation possible and the confidence they need to succeed!   The new Internet based TOEFL® iBT requires students to answer questions related to speaking, listening, reading and writing – and measures not just what they know, but how well they can express themselves and apply their knowledge.  By taking the Prep Program, they will practice integrated reading and listening skills, improve writing and speaking, as well as learn test-taking strategies.  The 12-week (30 lessons per week) Prep Program for the TOEFL® iBT also includes a seat for the exam!  And now, through an agreement with ETS, we have become ETS’ largest TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) provider in the USA,   4   Curriculum  ·          The Complete Prep Program for TOEFL® iBT includes 30 lessons per week of classroom instruction and practice in all key language skills: speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and writing. ·          The program begins with the ETS TOEFL® Practice Online (TPO) diagnostic test, with instant scoring and feedback. ·          Students progress through three different modules, each of which includes sample testing to measure progress and build confidence to take the actual test. ·          Additionally, the course includes the ETS CriterionSM, with instant scoring and feedback by ETS on writing samples. ·          Individual competencies and objectives are addressed through technology-supported learning in our new Language Technology Centers. ·          Instructors that have been trained and certified by ETS work with students to build specific test-taking skills and strategies using the best materials available. ·          At the end of the course, a prepaid seat for the official TOEFL® iBT is included, at the center, offering the additional benefit of taking the test in familiar surroundings. ·          Academic advising is included in the program for students who are considering further study at an American university, through our professional University Placement service.   What’s Included   Prep Program Lessons (per week)   30 lessons total   15 lessons – TOEFL® iBT instruction   10 lessons – Academic English skills   5 lessons – TOEFL® iBT practice in computer lab Materials   Latest study materials and official ETS online practice products Instructors   ETS certified/trained tech Included seat for official TOEFL® iBT exam*   Yes                            * Available for 12-week programs only   Students prepare for the TOEFL with six lessons per day!   ·          2 lessons of Structure and Speaking Practice Students will focus on listening, speaking and grammar skills, integrated skills needed for the TOEFL exam.   ·          1 lesson of TOEFL iBT Practice in our Language Technology Center In our self-study language labs, students will take actual TOEFL practice exams using TOEFL study materials and advanced listening software.  And most importantly, students will receive an Individualized Learning Plan based on their English proficiency level on the placement tests and on TOEFL iBT goals.   ·          1 lesson of TOEFL Reading and Writing Students will read, discuss and write about a variety of reading selections, while using ETS’ exclusive writing practice for the TOEFL exam.   ·          2 lessons of TOEFL iBT Prep Here students will put their newly learned skills to work by refining study techniques, discussing test-taking strategies and practicing test formats.  Pre-Arrival Test  To help students plan for study in the U.S., we have created a Pre-Arrival Test of language proficiency (PAT).  The PAT is a quick, inexpensive and easy way to determine how long it will take a student to reach his or her goal for learning English.  Student can also use the results to see if they are ready for one of the exciting advanced level courses offered, like the complete, 3-session TOEFL® iBT Preparation course.   The PAT evaluated grammar, listening, speaking and writing abilities in 30 to 50 minutes, on-line.  The test taker receives immediate, machine-generated feedback on grammar and listening skills after completing the test.  And he or she will get teacher-generated feedback on speaking and writing skills within 72 hours after taking the test, sent to any designated e-mail address.     4 Admissions requirements   The minimum level requirement is high intermediate.  We will accept one of the following for admission to this program  ·         A pre-arrival test is given to students the come directly for the Prep Program for the TOEFL® iBT.  See below for more details. ·          Score of 46 on TOEFL® iBT; 473 on TOEFL® pBT; 150 on TOEFL® cBT; IELTS Band 5

The criteria of selection are very rigorous and each family must satisfy a precise conditions of contract: : excellent morality, desire to communicate with their host, satisfactory social standing. We should specify that the families will only speak with you the language of the country where you will be. It is the principle of the immersion courses!
